Last week, we participated in an incredible charity event hosted by our non-profit partner, Common Threads. Common Threads is a non-profit organization that educates children on the importance of healthy eating through after-school cooking and nutrition programs. We’re all about encouraging everyone to Live Loose and be the best version of themselves they can be, so we love their mission and it was an honor to be a part of Common Threads’s Sixth Annual Cook-off fundraiser. It was an incredible experience, and we met tons of amazing chefs and mixologists right in our backyard!

The holidays are upon us! That means holiday parties, food, and drinks. Mix it up this year with a new drink to take to the party!

Ingredients:

2 oz vodka
6 oz blueberry wild child tea brewed
2 oz blueberry syrup
frozen pineapple and ice cubes

Combine vodka, tea, and syrup. Toss in some ice cubes and frozen pineapple pieces and you’ve got yourself a refreshing holiday drink!

For The Syrup:

Add whiskey, cranberry juice, and lemon juice to warm tea.
2 cups frozen organic blueberries
½ cup honey
1 cup water

2 Tablespoons water
1 Tablespoon cornstarch

In a small bowl combine 2 tbl water with cornstarch and set aside. In a medium saucepan combine water, honey, and blueberries. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add your water and starch mixture. Give away or store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!

Alright Loose Lifers, this one is my (Ashley) all-time favorite warm #loosecocktail for winter. It’s a hug in a mug with just the right amount of spirit. My recommendation? Brew up a mug, gather ’round with a holiday movie, and cheers to the perfect nightcap!

Ingredients:
5 oz Chai Love tea brewed
2 oz Baileys Irish Cream
Coconut Shavings

Prep:

Add Irish Cream to warm tea and top with coconut shavings.

Ingredients:

5 oz Earl Grey de la Creme tea brewed
2 oz whiskey
1 oz cran juice
1 oz lemon juice

Serve It Up:

Add whiskey, cranberry juice, and lemon juice to warm tea.

Garnish with dried mango

Cheers to Friday! Hold onto the flavors of summer with this light and refreshing watermelon margarita on the rocks!

Recipe:
2 oz. silver tequila
5 oz. Tiesta Tea Chunky Watermelon
champagne floater and a dash of lime
serve over ice and garnish with lime and a dash of salt.

Steps:
Combine tequila and tea over ice.
Top with champagne and lime juice.
Garnish with lime and a salt rim if you’d like!


With a Nutty Almond Rumble!
A light nutty and creamy rum flavor paired with a slightly sweet lemon and hints of apple; this delicious and good-for-you cocktail is a relaxing wind down yet refreshing. It will certainly make you will forget you’re drinking rum and is perfect for a Relaxing Labor Day!

Ingredients:
1 cup lemon juice
½ cup stevia

8 oz. Tiesta Nutty Almond Cream tea
1 oz. Lemon simple syrup
1 oz. Rum
4 oz. Tonic water

Directions:
To make your simple syrup; heat lemon juice and stevia in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar dissolves.

Brew 8 oz. of tea. Let cool. Pour all ingredients into a glass, stir, and add ice.
