Let’s face it, not all of us are cut out for spending our valuable free time torturing our bodies in some smelly gym. If you are a person who has the urge to get in a two-hour workout everyday, my hat is off to you. But for those of you like me, who couldn’t think of a more daunting way to spend their free time, here are a few ways to avoid the gym, but also keep a healthy body.

Take Your Best Friend To The Park
Dust off that leash and spend the day with your four legged friend. Run, skip, or walk to the park. Playing with your furry friend can burn about 90 calories in 30 minutes.

Be A Kid Again
The things we did as children are often great ways to burn calories. Grab a kite. Go on a bike ride. Whatever you do, just have fun with it, and you’ll never realize how many calories you’re burning.

Get A Green Thumb
Plant a few seeds, and dive into the world of gardening. Tilling soil and digging out weeds is not only a great way to burn calories, but caring for a growing living.

Drink Green Tea
A few cups of green tea will get your metabolism going, and because it has virtually no calories, you can drink it until the cows come home. It will also provide you with a natural energy boost, leaving you feeling fresh and focused.
